UEA promotes the ecocity concept in several ways –
• By running the regular educational tours of Christie Walk, during which the concepts of medium density living, sustainability, bio-diversity, retro-fitting, car-free life and community living are demonstrated.
• By reaching out more widely via this website.
• By communicating with, supporting and sharing ideas with other ecocities and eco-village developments in Australia and around the world.
• By lobbying Government bodies and talking to councils and prominent individuals about our core values and the urgent need to live sustainably. See Environmental Advocacy.
