There are better ways to organise cities. Ninety percent of Australians live in cities and on average we spend 3.5 hours commuting to work each week at a cost of $21 billion to the economy each year. We live in homes that use twice the energy that they did thirty years ago, and we are increasingly encroaching on prime agricultural land and wildlife corridors to build new suburbs. There is a better way!
The Urban Ecology community continues to inspire us with the freshness of their ideas, the strength of their determination and the practical implementation of their vision of sustainable living.
