Stern Challenges Australia to Make Deep Cuts on Greenhouse

Nicholas Stern has challenged Australia to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent on 1990 levels by 2020, and by 60 to 90 percent by 2050.
Stern, chief author of the Stern Report on the Economics of Climate Change, released by the UK Government, is in Australia as part of a world tour, encouraging countries to act on global warming and climate change.
