Christie Walk
Christie Walk is a landmark ecocity development located in downtown Adelaide. A finalist in the World Habitat Awards for 2005, this development comprises 27 dwellings on 2000 square metres which incorporate environmentally responsible design features: passive solar heating and cooling, power from photovoltaics, healthy building practices and onsite recycling of stormwater.
Since its inception, thousands of people have visited Christie Walk seeking accurate, hands-on information.
The Christie Walk website receives increasing numbers of hits per year.
